John D. Carreker
President and Chief Executive Officer
John D. Carreker III brings more than 20 years of leadership and success in the global financial services sector spanning technology, consulting, operations and payments. He joins Austin Logistics from Carreker Corporation (CANI:NASDAQ) where he served as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of International Operations and most recently as the President of the Global Payments Technologies business. As a member of the executive committee his leadership helped drive the company to over $120 million in revenue prior to Carreker Corporation's sale to Checkfree Corporation in 2007.
During his tenure as President, Global Payment Technologies at Carreker Corporation, John was accountable for the global software and services division, a $75 million business consisting of three major lines of business with a staff of over 300 people in multiple locations. Carreker's software business was a leading provider of financial services technology in the US, Canada, Europe, South Africa, and Australia. Prior to running the software business, Mr. Carreker established and grew Carreker Corporation's International business to over $20 million in 4 years. The business was headquartered in London, England with satellite offices in Sydney and Johannesburg.
Mr. Carreker also held key leadership positions in the Operations Groups at BayBanks, Inc. (now Bank of America) and Texas American Bancshares (now JPMorgan Chase) prior to joining Carreker Corporation.
John earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University.
