Providian Financial Corporation Licenses Austin Logistics' Call Center Productivity Software

AUSTIN, TX - April 16, 2003 - Austin Logistics Incorporated today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Providian Financial Corporation (NYSE: PVN) for Austin Logistics' CallTech™ and OnQ™ software solutions.

CallTech and OnQ work together to increase right-party contacts and centralize collection strategies across multiple call centers. The goals are to collect more delinquent dollars and control resource costs. The software includes a champion/challenger feature to measure these improvements.
